Simon Bayly works with entrepreneurs and science startups to raise venture capital and grow their businesses. He has PhD in chemistry and spent his early career in research at the University of British Columbia and the University of Oxford, where his interests spread across diverse technologies from molecular magnets to radioactive imaging agents for cancer. A spell at the diagnostics spin-out Oxford Biosensors triggered Simon’s passion for science startups. He later made the step over into finance with H2O Venture Partners and is now a partner at Epiphany Capital. Simon can often be found tweeting (about #synbio) or cycling.
